ACT provides funding for evidence-based efforts that improve understanding of and access to clinical trials for minority and underserved populations, facilitate participation in clinical trials, and improve clinical trial accrual.
Initial proposals can be sent at any time for grants ranging from $5,000 - $250,000 in direct costs, plus 12% allowable indirect costs. Initial proposal must not exceed 2 pages in length. If approved, a second, more detailed application process is required.
Grants are available to 501(c)(3) designated organizations in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area to replicate or expand demonstrated best practices or innovative approaches in improving clinical trial accrual.
Grant recipients are required to submit brief quarterly status updates final report containing program results, metrics and budget expenditures.
