PROMISE is a registry of prostate cancer patients participating in a research study to learn how genetic differences can affect patient outcomes.
ACT seeks to provide public recognition for health care institutions, professional associations, membership organizations and individual practitioners who stand out relative to their peers in increasing awareness of clinical trials, educating cancer patients about the benefits/risks of clinical trials, and successfully placing a large percentage of qualified patients in appropriate clinical trials.
Those who demonstrate these attributes will be publicly recognized in regional print and online media for their knowledge and effectiveness in serving cancer patients.
To nominate an organization or an individual for an ACT Recognition Award, download, complete, and email the Nomination Form.
ACT provides funding for evidence-based efforts that improve understanding of and access to clinical trials for minority and underserved populations, facilitate participation in clinical trials, and improve clinical trial accrual.
